Join Dr. Jamie Bailey of Bailey Acupuncture and Nico Aya Maldonado of Reiki Sol for a sacred evening together May 22 from 7:00-8:30 in Chicago at Reiki Sol Studios. You will be guided through a sacred cacao ceremony as we dive deeper into the psycho-emotional barriers of the mental, emotional, physical & spiritual bodies. We will learn about the benefits of cacao as a plant ally, discuss the balancing and healing effects of acupuncture, and relax with a restorative and healing sound journey that will include acupuncture and crystal therapies.
You will emerge from this sacred container feeling balanced, nourished, restored, and inspired! We will create a safe container for you to dive into the depths of yourselves and re-member your divine essence and purpose in this lifetime.
About Cacao:
As a loving guide, cacao assists us in personal healing and transformation. Cacao has been generously shared at this time in life, when many people have lost their connection to their hearts. This plant medicine has been shared shamanically (non psycho-active) for 3,500 years by Olmec, Maya & Aztec cultures, and it helps clear blockages mentally, emotionally, physically, and spiritually. This helps us on our paths so that we can connect with our fullest expression of love.
Preparation:
eat a light dinner so the cacao can will activate with ease.
Please avoid alcohol and caffeine the day of the ceremony
Important, If you are on any antidepressants, are breast feeding, have low blood pressure, or have a history of epilepsy, blood disorder, pacemaker, skin disorder, or are pregnant, please let us know** this will not prevent you from attending this ceremony, we will talk about adjustments so you can have your best experience.

What to expect:
Cacao increases the blood flow within you, this is a vasodilator, and is a heart centered energy.
Cacao can activate a detox response from the body, resulting in nausea and/or headaches. If this happens we can drink some water to help alleviate these symptoms and help the detoxification.
It's best to have a the evening free to yourself so you can integrate and rest.
Integration is one of the most important parts of any experience we encounter. So allowing yourself this time is very nourishing and transformative.
We will then weave together and share the ancient practice of acupuncture, the practice that started in China approximately 3,000 years ago. Acupuncture has a long list of benefits, much like Cacao that we will share with you at the event! You will be experiencing ear acupuncture this evening, designed to promote relaxation, improve sleep, decrease anxiety, increase energy, promote mental clarity, enhance stress management and enhance a sense of purpose and well being.
